Kaapsche Hollandsche Exclusive Homeware Collection items are handcrafted natural fabric items with a heritage design. We aim to make individual and unique pieces which are made in small batches or as one-offs.

The founder of Kaapsche Hollandsche Exclusive Designer Homeware Collection is a Dutch lady who came to South Africa as a post-graduate law student from Maastricht University to the University of Stellenbosch in 1995.

Like a real love story, she met the handsome professional rugby player Fritz van Heerden. She fell in love. Not only with him, but also with the beautiful country of South Africa.

Then, lockdown 2020 happened. Currently, in her 25th year of permanent residency in Paarl and with a longing to visit the Netherlands again, Nelleke van Heerden took a leap of faith and started the Exclusive Designer brand: Kaapsche Hollandsche Homeware Collection.

The designs and printing are done locally to support small businesses and artisans.

With the combined rich historic heritage of Kaapsche with Hollandsche since 1687, now is the time to celebrate the unique handcrafted designs that will bring joy to your table all around the world.

Our wish is that this small local women empowering business may flourish and share with you many new stories & memories as we gather around His table as sisters!
